The Acting Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Chile, Muhannad bin Sultan Al-Yousef, attended the event hosted by Her Excellency the President of the Republic of Chile, Mrs. Michelle Bachelet, for the heads and representatives of the accredited diplomatic missions in Chile on the occasion of the New Year, held at the presidential palace in the capital Santiago. In her speech at the event, the President welcomed all attendees, expressing her appreciation for the good intentions of the diplomatic missions towards Chile, which reciprocates the same sentiment. She noted that Chile faced several natural disasters this year and managed to confront and deal with them in the best possible way.Al-Yousef expressed his gratitude to the President for the invitation, pointing out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks to enhance fruitful and joint cooperation in all that would strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the Kingdom’s commitment to uniting international efforts to combat the phenomenon of violence and terrorism that the world is facing. He wished the Republic of Chile further progress and prosperity.
